Johanna

Johanna is the billing manager for the practice.  She is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) which means that her role is to ensure that claims filed follow strict industry standards.  All billing functions for the practice are managed on-site and she oversees all billing activity to ensure that claims and statements for services are submitted timely and accurately.  She is also responsible for credentialing with managed care companies.  Johanna enjoys meeting with patients to help them better understand how their insurance works and is always available to answer questions that patients may have regarding their statements. 
 
Johanna was born in Connecticut and moved to Philadelphia as a young child.  She remained in Philadelphia until 2007 when she moved to Bluffton with her family.  She chose the area for the family-oriented environment.  She has two children, Giselle who is a cadet in the Girl Scouts and Jonathan who is a Bear Cub Scout.  When Johanna is not working, she and her children enjoy going to movies, reading, swimming and other activities shared as a family.
