Ms. Lovato was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  She moved to the Lowcountry of South Carolina in 1991 where she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of South Carolina.  She returned to the University in 2000 and began her medical training.  Ultimately she received a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from South University in Savannah, graduating with Honors in 2008.  Stephanie has been a practicing, board-certified Physician Assistant in the Hilton Head area since that time, and has specialized in family medicine along with urgent care. 
Stephanie is a sports and outdoor enthusiast, and the climate here allows her to maintain an active lifestyle.  Outside of work she enjoys running and cycling, and has competed in numerous events ranging from “5Ks” to full marathons, and has participated in several triathlons.  Ms. Lovato’s most important work is being a Mom to a very active daughter, Zoe, who she considers her greatest joy in life.
