Dr. Cummings was born in Indiana and moved with his family as a young child to Virginia where he was raised. He and his wife Wendy, along with their children Tristan, Bryson, and GreyAnne moved to the Low Country in 2004 from Virginia after having vacationed in the area for many years. Dr. Cummings also has a daughter, Rebekah who lives and attends school in North Carolina. The Cummings chose the area for the ability to enjoy outdoor family activities including boating, fishing, hunting, and tennis. Dr. Cummings enjoys coaching sports for his children. The family is also very involved with their church, St. Andrews United Methodist Church where the entire family participates in mission work, both locally and abroad.
